Business Development Electronic Drivesystems PT Nord Indonesia

Job Purpose:

  • Develop NORD's business with drive electronics
Key Tasks:
  • Provide product and application training to the domestic sales force
  • Provide product and application training to prospects and customers
  • Perform market research resulting in a short list of suitable target accounts for drive electronics
  • Work with sales force to win those accounts and to develop existing accounts
    • Develop and execute strategy to win and develop accounts
    • Present NORD electronics product portfolio
    • Understand customer applications
    • Specify drive solution
    • Present solution to sales force and/or customer
    • Provide sample and support the initial commissioning process
    • Continue application support until contract is won
  • Prepare budget and forecast for drive electronics business
  • Participate in trade shows and other networking opportunities
  • Interface with NORD parent company related to product management, quality and improvement of business processes.

  • Knowledge of AC drives market
  • Knowledge of common industrial controls practices
  • Knowledge of industrial fieldbus networks
  • Broad understanding of industry applications
  • Ability to perform basic drives commissioning
  • Clear, concise, written and verbal communication skills
  • Software MS Office, CRM

Education Background & Experience:
  • Associates or Bachelor degree in Engineering (electrical, mechatronics) or equivalent experience
  • Five years sales and/or service related experience in the AC drives market
  • Proven track record in sales of AC drives
Requirements:
  • Domestic and international travel
