Cekindo is looking for Country Manager for one of our client in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This role entails high level responsibility and management of allpayment gatewayoperations within Indonesia. The Country Manager is an excellent leader and a self-motivator who is accustomed to strategic thinking and at the same time able to execute and lead the business to a new level of operational excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness.Will manage a small growing office of an already successful company awarded as a top startup in Asia.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business and revenue opportunities with credit card companies and acquiring banks in Indonesia
  • Direct and lead daily operations including integration requirements with local partners
  • Report to C-level on status of business development profitability
  • Analyze the landscape, identify target markets, and strategize growth plan for business
  • Maintain and continued alignment with overall corporate policy, strategy, and direction
  • Ensure compliance with local and legislative requirements for the work being performed by the company
  • Engage with local stakeholders to enhance the company reputation and subsequent management of any risks
  • Forge long term relationship with clients, business partners and other associates
  • Produce detailed annual business operating plan and business performance reports, as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for revenue, profits and cash
  • Build a team, monitor performance, train and mentor staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of how payment business operates and successful proven track record demonstrating his/her understanding and business acumen
  • A solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: leadership, people management, and an excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge or experience in the payment gateway and/or banking industry
  • Experience working with credit card companies
  • Flexible problem-solver with positive mindset
  • Ability to be to get things done and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of personal accountability
