Responsibilities:

• As part of the DevOps team, you are expected to:
• Take ownership of the proactive and reactive support, maintenance, performance monitoring, resources utilisation, and health check of a subsystem/network.
• Support design, and dimensioning of new projects.
• 
Proactively improve the performance monitoring, and reliability of subsystems.

• Be responsible for updates in production and staging environment, in frequent software release cycles, often under pressure, and always having to deal with demanding customers
• Interact with development team and support their activities
• Interact with QA team, and constantly keep an eye to details and seek for bugs at the lower layers.
Mentor junior DevOps members

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the same organisation as a DevOps, Senior SysAdmin, or IT Operations with a focus on delivering service reliability, stability, and security, with tight SLAs.
• Strong understanding of networking from principles to application.
• In-depth knowledge of fundamental Internet service standards including DHCP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, HTTP, SSL and other related services.
• Good understanding of Telecommunication service providers core network fundamentals, interfaces and protocols.
• Experienced in Linux.
• Scripting skills in Bash, and at least one additional administrative language such as Python, Ruby, Perl, or PHP.
• Ability to rapidly test, deploy, and understand open-source and proprietary technologies and tools.
• Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
• Strong grasp of automation tools and configuration principles.
• Occasional travels may be required.

• RedHat certifications such as RHCE or RHCSA
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios or Zabbix
• Experience with database system such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem components such as Mapreduce, Hive, and Zookeeper
• Experience with virtualisation solutions such as VirtualBox, KVM, or VMWare
