PT.  Lehmann Technology Asia (LTA) is a sister company from Bruno Lehmann AG in Switzerland.  LTA is producing turning and milling parts and does assemblies.  Our customers are mainly in Switzerland and Europe. 

LTA is looking for an experienced Purchasing and Logistic Manager who handles the operational as well the strategic Purchasing and Logistic tasks. 

As a Purchasing and Logistic Manager you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors.  The successful candidate will be able to perform procurement activities across multiple categories with the main topics overall costs, quality and timing.

Main Responsibility

Responsible for all purchasing und purchasing related tasks.  Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategy.  Ensure efficient logistics processes along the entire value chain (engineering, purchasing warehouse and shipment). 

Main Tasks

• Purchasing of raw material, sheet metal, welded components, standard parts, tools, cutting tool working materials and services (Obtaining quotations, quotation evaluation, issue PO and monitoring the delivery).
• Price negotiations by taking into account the qualitative and technical aspects.
• Evaluating and developing suppliers.
• Optimizing lead time and storage costs.
• Data maintenance in the ERP system.
• Ensure smooth shipping and customs clearance.
• Reporting to upper management on the key figures.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a purchasing manager in technical field.
• A knack for negotiation and networking.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
• Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g.  Accurate or Sage).
• Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
• BSc/BA in business administration.  Logistics or relevant field; Diploma 3 and Degree 1 with maximum 3 years' experience.
• Accounting knowledge will be advantage.
• Fluent in English.
